Protests against loadshedding in various cities continue

PESHAWAR/FAISALABAD/JHELUM: Enraged people of Peshawar, Faisalabad and Jhelum took to the streets against prolonged and unannounced loadshedding during Sehr and Iftar in Ramzan, Geo News reported.

 According to details, the masses in Peshawar protested against power outages. The protesters burnt tyres on the roads and suspended traffic in Dora area. They also pelted stones on the Wapda and other private vehicles.

 In Jhelum, the protesters set on fire offices of Xen and SDO.

 The police baton-charged protesters when they tried to march towards grid station in Faisalabad as a result five people were injured.
